Main objectives:
- Discover: transmission of scientific knowledge on coral reefs and other ecosystems through innovative approaches (e.g. educational games, art & science).
- To act: implementation of a concrete action for the protection of biodiversity and reefs, with the guidance of professionals.
- Cooperate between islands: expand its horizon, share its experiences with a network of actors, and strengthen the protection of reefs on a regional scale.
Expected results :
- Creation of 6 MEAs (1 per island) and implementation of conservation actions.
- Production of educational sheets adapted to local contexts.
- Creation of a multi-stakeholder network committed to the sustainable management of the marine environment.

🪸 AMEO Comores 🇰🇲 Mission à Mohéli L’équipe AMEO Comores est contente d’accueillir Lola (Cheffe de projet ) et Maylis (Chargée de mission Aire Éducative) pour une mission de 10 jours. Les objectifs de la mission sont de: ✅ Faire le bilan du première année du projet AMEO ✅ Former les enseignants sur les Aires Éducatives ✅ Organiser la deuxième année avec les animateurs. 📌Pendant cette mission, Lola et Maylis ont assisté la séance des dessins de recherche à École privée Vision, à l’EPP Miremani et la séance une à l’EPP Nioumachoi et elles en ont profité pour rencontrer les élèves de la nouvelle promotion du projet. IRD, Office français de la biodiversité, Interreg Europe, Région Réunion, Parc National de Mohéli, @Centre_Universitaire de Mohéli ———————————————————-🇪🇺 Ce projet est cofinancé par l’Union Européenne et la Région Réunion.
